The Bicolor Angelfish also known as the Two-colored Angelfish or Oriole Angelfish. These are beautiful fish and can be identified with their bright yellow and blue coloration. The Bicolor Angelfish is prone to nip at stony and soft corals (sessile invertebrates) and clam mantles and are considered reef compatible but with caution. They are semi-aggressive fish and require moderate care. They are omnivores and generally we feed our Angelfish a combination of specialty prepared angelfish food, spirulina brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, clams and seaweed strips. Dwarf Angelfish are generally peaceful fish but will often quarrel with members of their own species and even genus if they look similar enough. Dwarf Angelfish are predominately plankton eaters as juveniles. It is important to provide Dwarf Angelfish with plenty of good quality cured live rock and a well aquascaped aquarium with caves, archways and overhangs to swim through or hide in. Especially if there will be more than one Dwarf Angelfish in the same aquarium. |
